September 11, 2011

I can't believe it has been 10 years already. We will always remember where we were on that tragic morning; Ryan was in 8th grade and I was in 7th grade. The first time I heard about the towers I was heading to Social Studies class and a girl looked at me and said... "Oh my god, it's going to be W.W. III." I wasn't sure what she meant by that, but after seeing the footage, I knew exactly what she meant.  It is now 10 years later, I am a high school graduate, a wife and a mother. It is crazy to think that Evan will read about the event, that I remember so vividly, in his Social Studies textbooks.

Ryan had a brilliant idea to use up the remaining chalk from Brinley's visit to decorate the driveway.

So here is our tribute to those who lost their lives that tragic day...

Evan's Uncle Cabrera invited us over to his house to watch some football, so we had to dress in our red, white and blue.

Thanks for stopping by. And God Bless America!
Love,
The Winter's
